The Challenge: Bringing Holiday Cheer to Life with Limited Resources

As the holidays approached, our team faced a unique challenge. The Tachus Fiber Internet’s brand new mascot, Trudy, had charmed audiences with her influencer-like antics and quirky adventures earlier in the year. However, financial constraints prevented us from creating fresh holiday-specific content. We needed to repurpose existing assets while maintaining the high-quality, authentic feel that audiences had come to expect from Trudy’s campaigns.

Our Strategy: Embrace Flavor Layers and Playfully Lean into "Jam" as a Concept

We revisited Trudy’s personality, asking ourselves: Who is Trudy during the holidays? The answer guided us to a playful concept where Trudy is writing heartfelt letters to Santa in her cozy living room, fully embracing the festive spirit. Using existing Trudy photography, AI tools, and top-notch design skills, we created a 2D animated living room that felt alive with holiday charm. This allowed us to keep Trudy front and center in our video ads, even without new footage. Trudy’s whimsical belief in Santa Claus mirrored her belief in everyone’s right to fast, frustration-free internet, tying her holiday message to the brand’s core values.
