Elevating brand visibility by highlighting the product's unique size and vibrant appeal.

The Challenge: Showcasing the Monster-Sized Appeal

Monster Pops are a big deal—literally. At 55% larger than competing single-stick pops, their size and colorful swirls are a key selling point. However, the original packaging hid both the size and the vibrant colors, which diminished the product's visual impact. The challenge was clear: how could we redesign the packaging to highlight the massive size and eye-catching swirls of Monster Pops?

Our Strategy: Bridging Cultures and Building Excitement

We transformed the packaging by swirling the vibrant colors of the pop itself into the design, eliminating unnecessary elements to create a clean, eye-catching bag. This not only showcased the swirl of colors but also emphasized the impressive size of Monster Pops, making them instantly recognizable and irresistible. The clean design allowed the product to speak for itself, effectively communicating the "huge deal" message without overwhelming the consumer.

Simultaneously, we laid the groundwork for a broader brand campaign, introducing the tagline “Kind of a Huge Deal” to emphasize the size advantage of Monster Pops in the popsicle world. Subtle hints of this campaign were woven into the packaging design, building a cohesive, adaptable brand system that worked across all flavors and channels while aligning with the new creative direction.
